New Vertex 5 replaces the legendary Vertex IV. Professional, ultrasonic hypsometer for quick and easy tree height and distance measurement. Measures distances up to 30m with a resolution of 0.01m and accuracy of 1% of better if calibrated. Measures heights up to 999m with a resolution of 0.1m and angles in degrees, Grads or %. 5000 data sets can now be stored internally in the built-in memory and saved as a CSV file. Bluetooth can be used to transfer data wirelessly to devices with Android, iOS or Windows. Use the free app Haglof Link to receive the data from the Vertex 5 and then share it via e-mail, Drop-box, iCloud, Google Drive or similar directly from the app. Basal area function can be used to determine the minimum diameter on the sample plot to be counted.
